My student use Moby Math daily to work on computation skills and much more! Students work together in partners or in a small group to discuss and understand math problems. I use the data to know where my students are struggling.
I am an intervention teacher, and I work with students who have IEPs and students who are below grade level. My students have really enjoyed using Moby Math. They do an hour a week on their lessons. I have encouraged them to go online and use Moby over the summer. They are excited that they are able to continue using the program. I am pleased with the results they have shown. I also like the IEP goals section of the program. I am hoping my district will pay for another year during the 2112/2013 school year. I would highly recommend Moby Math!
The students really like the individual learning plan they get. It gives them work on what they truly need.
This program is great. It allows you to baseline Math skills for all your students and gives them demonstrations of skills that they need added support with. I have been teaching Special Education for over 20 years, and this program has proved to be very useful as an added supplement to each of my students' needs in Math. Just love it!
Moby Math benefits both my struggling and my high achieving students. I plan to use it daily next year.
My students have all made gains from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. Some have gone from 3.5 grade level to a 7.6 grade level. This is also being reflected in their classwork! Thank Moby!!!!
I enjoy using this program. Next school year, I intend to make it a large portion of my math intervention instruction!
I have been using Moby Math for 90 minutes a week with my 7th graders. After they got used to it they have come to look forward to the time, being able to focus their skills individually. Using Moby has become a much valued tool in my classroom!
I like the placement test to help find where students need extra drill and practice. I like that the questions are read out loud to the students so that reading is not a factor. I'm looking forward to using it more with all my students. I am excited to have this program available for us next year too.
My students have been enjoying the activities in Moby Math. They love to track their progress and learn about their cosmos badges. They even had a little friendly competition going to see who could earn the most. Thanks for giving us a fun and exciting way to brush up on our math skills.
My students that used this program increased their math skills. In fact, when I stopped using it, one of my students ended up needing a little more help in math.
My students loved moby math. It was easy to follow and provided help when they would get stuck. I liked the fact that it had so many different grade levels and skill levels. I teach special education at the middle school level. my students come with a variety of abilities. This program allowed me to individualize instruction for my students. It provided immediate feedback on their progress. I also like the fact that I could access the site with my classroom iPads.
My students really enjoy Moby math. It is so nice to have the different levels so they can learn and advance as they understand the concepts.
I teach students with special needs and they have improved their math skills in just the small amount of time we have used Moby Math. They enjoy working on it and look forward to when we get to use it. I would recommend Moby Math for any teacher, especially teachers with students that need a little extra help with math. We love it!
I used Moby Math in my self-contained special education class. My students loved it, and most of my students have shown a vast amount of improvement. I am also recommending that my parents allow their children to use the program over the summer.
My students use Moby Math daily. They are able to work on skills that they have deficits in while we can continue on with our lessons for the day. I split my class up into groups. While one group is working on the computers, I am working with the other group. This allows for direct explicit instruction in a small group setting. I can continue teaching my curriculum and at the same time, students are working on other skills that they struggle with. I have seen the progress and growth that my students are making. We all LOVE Moby Math!!!
I have been using Moby Math for several months, and I love the program. The students are engaged and are even working at home. The progress monitoring aspect of the program is great for tracking progress and meeting benchmarks. I especially love the progress graphs. I am telling my fellow math teachers about this program.
I really love this program! The progress monitor aspect is my favorite!
My students enjoy Moby Math. I think they feel a sense of accomplishment after each session they complete!
My students are excited about achieving success with Moby Math. Their engagement in learning has taken a huge leap and they seem to be more motivated to learn math concepts.
My students are enjoying using Moby Math. I like it, because it gives me feedback. It gives my students opportunities for practice.
Moby Math has been a great addition for my students. It has greatly increased their skill levels and has been a great asset in increasing their MAPs scores.
Moby math has been a blessing to me and my students. I used it for placement, monitoring, and setting IEP goals. The students liked the practice and immediate feedback they received after each problem and lesson. I look forward to using next year.
My students really liked using Moby Math. In fact they were disappointed when our free trial ended! I am hoping our school will be able to purchase a school license so we can use the program next year.
The best feature for my students was the read aloud. It permitted students who have reading disabilities to perform at a high level without the disability interfering. Thanks
I love Moby Math. It is easy to use, affordable, and valuable. I love the idea of the students having an ongoing web-based intervention they can utilize at school and home. My students know that if they are not putting forth effort or having idle time, the system will let me know. This is an amazing tool to assist students in reaching their next level.
Actually I only had 1 student that used Moby Math. Her skills were VERY low and she was unable to do the work the class was doing. I was frustrated and discouraged because I was unable to give her the attention she needed as well as work with the other members of the class on their math assignments. This child needed direct instruction, one on one teaching. Moby Math gave me the ability to begin meeting her needs. She was able to spend short periods of time getting auditory instruction while visually seeing what was being talked about. She started her math instruction with Moby Math while I instructed the class. Each morning, she would ask if she should log on & willingly engaged in the Moby Math activities. While the other students worked on their assignments, I was able to teach this student. I would love to say she is now on grade level. She is not. However, she has definitely made progress, which has been measured in the district-wide testing that these students are required to take.
My students like to use Moby Math to access their level of math skills mastery. They challenge themselves to go above their grade level.
My students LOVE this program, ask to get on it for practice, and have improved immensly! I recommend this program for all who have struggling math students. I really like the flexibility that allows the teacher to adjust the lessons.
My students and my school love Moby Math.
My students really liked Moby. It held their attention. Moby was used in my class daily. I will be anxious to see the progress of these students next year. I am recommending that they do Moby over the summer.
My students have been on task trying to earn badges. We were using another program that had games. I was surprised how the students were motivated by the badges and the class having a chance to win an iPad. I actually have students working at home to earn more badges. I also like the reports better than the other program. I find Moby very teacher friendly. The program is easy to monitor students progress.
Students like the ability to go at their own pace.
My students look forward to their time with Moby Math. I like the progress monitoring and the ease of assigning lessons. They love to see how much their scores improve.
What I like about Moby Math is that the students are able to get the differentiation they need. Everyone works on his or her own level and moves as quickly or as slowly as they need. I love that I am able to log on and see the exact lessons the students complete and how much time they spent on their last session.
My students really like the Moby Math program. They like competing with their own abilities. They also like the instant feedback they get when they answer correctly. I like that it gives questions based on their individual abilities.
I like that it is a whole class program that can be individualized. I also appreciate your emails and quick responses.
I liked the placement test. The reports were easy to get and the students liked to do this. I'm very excited about getting the free trial for us to try.
Moby Math has really helped my students this year. It provided immediate feedback on problems they missed and it helped them to practice skills where there was a need. The pre-test and the facts master were great tools to start each lesson. Some of the greatest features for a classroom teacher is that it keeps a record of the progress the students are making over time. Also, teachers are able to monitor student progress when they work at home or in the lab. Teachers are able to pull up reports from anywhere they have internet connection.
I LOVE MobyMath and so do my students. They like doing it in class, at home, on the weekends and during "free time" in other classes. Through the great data gathering and display it is easy to track and see improvements over the whole year. My parents love it too, especially during IEP meetings. Once you try it you are going to love it.
I really liked that this program is individualized for each student and they can work at their own pace. My computer teacher lets my students work on it when they come in and they are excited to do it. Thank you for your support, and I am hoping to get some more computers in my room next year so all my students can work at the same time.
I love Moby Math. I love that it repeats lessons until the students have mastered it! I also love that I can reassign a section or get them out of one if they are frustrated and need to come back later. The program is very user friendly! Great job :)
My students love moby math. I also find that it is very close to the new national core standards. We use it daily in the classroom and many students use it at home. My daughter uses it often also.
My 2nd grade students love Moby Math. I love that they can also use Moby Math at home. Thank you for sending a parent letter which I will be sending home with the grade cards at the end of the year.
I just assessed two students last Friday and they have been completing a ton of math at home. What they most appreciate is the instant feedback.
I liked being able to access any lesson easily.
Moby Math is great for small group instruction. It makes differentiating quick and best of all...EASY! It plans lessons for my students based on their needs using the placement test! I well definitely use it again next year! THANKS!
I liked the placement test and easy setup for student accounts. It is very good for lower elementary students and easy to use and understand.
My students beg to get on Moby Math everyday. I also use it as a reward for finishing other work.
Moby Math makes it easy to enter IEP goals and is an excellent way to track progress towards showing how the student is progressing and meeting those goals. I highly recommend it!
I have students that come in the room and say " I love Moby Math". They appreciate the ease of using the program, the achievement awards they get periodically and being able to access it from any internet service.
My students liked Moby Math a lot. They especially liked seeing their thermometers go up on their facts!
I work with special education students. The Moby Math program is just right for individualizing their curriculum. I can put several students on Moby Math, while I pull individuals over to my table to work with me. The Moby Math program keeps the students engaged in their learning, so that I am not dealing with a lot of behavior issues. The students like seeing their own progress on a daily basis. I highly recommend Moby Math to other teachers. Lori Ryan
The students love Moby Math. I love the fact that it reaches them at their level of need. The IEP goals are great!
My students enjoyed using Moby Math. They liked working on the computer and working at their level on the skills that they needed to work on.
I have seen that the kids enjoy using it. I have loved being able to fill in learning gaps by having them assess and practice skills from previous grade levels. Thank you.
I really like how Moby Math graphs student progress on lessons and can continually test students on their basic math facts. The students really like to see their progress.
My students are cognitively impaired in a high school setting. They are at different levels of abilities, and Moby Math has given them a chance to practice all of their individual skill needs independently. The Moby Math format keeps my students engaged, and I am able to check on their progress which is immensely helpful!
My students love getting on the computer to do math work. I love the assessment tools built into the program.
I love Moby Math. My students also love it! They beg us each day to go onto the program. I love the reports it gives with the graphs. I can use these to help me write my goals and the present levels of performance in my IEPs. I also like that the program has audio for those students that need it. I am very excited that they can use this over the summer as they tend to fall backwards in the math skills when they come back in the fall. Thank you for creating such a great math program.
I love Moby Math. My children go to computer lab three times a week and can not wait to get on the program. They are not only using it at school, but are logging on at home, too! Using this program has increased math scores on all their tests. Parents are really excited about seeing their children working so hard on math and having fun at the same time. I am sending home your summer letter so that the parents remember that they can use it all summer long. This is a great program. The easy access is wonderful. Improvements are hard to find. Thank you for making math so easy!!
I teach in an EB/D (Emotional Behavioral Disabilities) self-contained unit. I use Moby Math as part of our morning routine. Each student must complete Handwriting, Phonics and Moby Math (20 minutes) before gaining free time. I enjoy being able to actually monitor their progress daily and assign lessons that they are struggling in. Moby Math as been a great added addition to our every day routine.
I love the snapshot of my class, so I know which students have logged on, how much time they spent practicing, and what they need the most work on. I also love that this website is preparing my students for computerized, standardized testing!
I love Moby Math. I have assigned lessons to my students for remediation as well as enrichment. I love the fact that students can use this at home or in the classroom. Getting their scores and certificates of completion is really easy, and they love seeing their names and accomplishments on the overhead. I highly recommend Moby Math for assessing students, allowing them this great opportunity to reinforce skills taught, and to move forward or back to fill in gaps in learning.
I teach 5th grade students with learning disabilities and they loved for me to print out their scores on lessons and the fact mastery so they could see how they were doing.
I love Moby Math! It allows me to assign lessons for each individual student. Then as they progress through the lessons they earn stars. Once a week I print their award certificates to show them what they have accomplished. Moby Math is also reasonably priced at only $59.00 a year for a classroom license!
Moby Math was a positive experience for my students. Our district is considering buying a site license for next fall.
I am very excited to offer math enrichment to my students over the summer months!
I have been using Moby Math with my students who are in need of remediation. It has been very helpful, and I plan on using it as a summer option for those students who might otherwise be slated for summer school.
I loved how easy it was to email the Moby Math team for help. You are a wonderful support and so quick with your replies! I like how you can adjust the Fact Master for each student and re-assign lessons. My students really liked going on Moby Math each day. It was a great way to reinforce concepts they struggle with. Thank you, Moby Math!
Dear Moby Math, I am a homeschool student. I like Moby Math because it challenges my brain and helps me learn my facts. It teaches me to work at my speed. I especially like the unit on fractions.
My students truly enjoy Moby Math. I asked several of them why they enjoy this program and the overwhelming reply was that they are able to work at their own pace on things that they know they are having trouble with. I have seen great improvement in Attitude and math skills. I like the fact that I am more easily able to see student deficit and the improvement as they work.
My students are doing great with Moby Math. I love that it is another way for them to practice their math facts, and they get so excited when their scores improve. I also love the fact that the lessons are so systematic and individualized. It is so helpful to see where all the little learning gaps are. My favorite thing is the progress monitoring section. It is so exciting to see their progress. I get as excited as they do.
My last student just told me this made math fun.
I have recommended Moby Math to all of my colleagues teaching K-6 from Fieldcrest District. You may check your records to see how many people have begun to use it! I would like to see how many that includes myself! I recommended Moby Math at an inservice for the K-6 teachers in our district. I was asked to speak about ways I was using ipads with my first grade class. I am piloting their use for the Fieldcrest school district. My students have LOVED it. They work so hard and are anxiously trying to earn "badges" and are always showing me their fact master! I would certainly like to use it next year and think it would be awesome to have it available to my first graders during the summer! One of our fourth grade teachers began using Moby Math and encouraged her colleagues to use it as well to help prepare their students for ISAT testing this spring. Thanks!
My students are constantly asking to get on Moby Math when they complete their classwork. It is their favorite computer activity. That makes me smile!
I teach students on the autism spectrum. They love the interactive lessons, the increase in their math skills, and the Cosmic Badges.
Using Moby Math is like having an individual teacher working with each of my students! It is easy to log on, they enjoy doing the lessons, and are so proud when they earn 100 percent.
Since I have been using Moby my students have been making great improvements in their math fluency.
My students enjoy using Moby Math because of the focused lessons and instant feedback it provides. They like having results and knowing what they need to work on after each problem.
I have really enjoyed using Moby Math this year. The students have also enjoyed the program and are improving in their skills.
I really enjoyed using Moby Math. I plan on continuing to use Moby Math next year as well starting right away with general assessments to help my students right away. I especially like all of the data that can be generated from moby math. It is beneficial when working on interventions and giving parents important data to use at home as well.
My kids LOVE to get on to Moby Math! "PLEASE can we go on Moby Math!"
I love how students are given an assessment and then they are given units of study based on their needs. I also love how I can assign topics of study to students. The ease of accessing students records is great.
My students began using Moby Math in January 2012 on my TRIAL use. Within the first week I was able to see that this program was VERY benificial to my students and me! It challenges the students but at the same time lets them know their progress. I share, on occasion, the line graph showing student progress. This is a wonderful visual that helps the students easily understand their progress and growth. I mentioned the program to the building principal and our director of special services. In a short time the District chose to add Moby Math. I especially like the monitoring and the control I have over the lessons that my students use and practice.
My students and I enjoyed using Moby Math. We used Moby Math at least once a week and they were excited to earn the badges. I enjoyed being able to assess the students and let them work at a pace and level that was comfortable for them.
My students use Moby Math daily and enjoy that they can work at their own speed, the program repeats objectives until mastery is achieved, and the awards they receive. They find the directions clear and easy to understand.
My students have grown so much this year...they are constantly asking to get on...thanks!
The kids like doing Moby Math!
My students love Moby Math. I spent my own money for the license after my 30 day free trial. I want my students to use the program this summer and will send the parent letter and the students' password home with them at the end of the school year. Thanks for a great math program.
My students love Moby Math! Several of them come in every day and ask if they can use the program. They are excited to see if they have improved each time.
My students enjoy working with the Moby Math series. They are able to work at their own pace at the level that is beneficial to them. I have tried other programs, but Moby Math is the most age appropriate design.
As a special educator, Moby Math is fantastic. It allows us to monitor students' math goals and objectives, eliminating time gathering worksheets and problems related to goals and objectives. I highly recommend this program to other fellow special educators.
My students always ask to do Moby Math when they enter their math class. They enjoy the immediate feedback and working at their own pace. They feel encouraged when they score well on a lesson.
My students like Moby Math. More importantly, I can get accurate reports on their progress with tables and graphs. I can also get a printout containing IEP goals with the date completed checked off. There are also updates that I use to inform parents of progress.
My second grade students greatly enjoy Moby Math. It is a wonderful way to differentiate instruction!
My students love Moby Math. We use it daily in the computer lab and in the classroom! I sent home the students' usernames and passwords so that they can even use the website at home! I love that it instructs students at their level so my high students can benefit as well as my low students. My students love the cosmos pictures that come with each level completed! Great program!
This program has helped my students grow so much in the time they have been using it. They are more confident in their abilities in math now.
My students like the fact challenge. They like to be able to see how much they improve and how close they are to 100%.
It is amazing how much my students have learned through this program! I have recommended this program to our district coordinator.
